Zinc Propeller Nut Anode A CMT-PNZA

The Martyr CMT-PNZA is a zinc replacement propeller nut anode in the A-style pattern, designed to help protect propeller shafts and propellers from galvanic corrosion in saltwater service. Current product references identify it as the replacement anode only, not a complete assembled prop nut kit.

Key Features

Zinc sacrificial propeller nut replacement anode.
Martyr part number: CMT-PNZA / CMPNZA.
A-style replacement anode pattern.
Designed for saltwater use.

Application / Compatibility

Suitable where an A-style replacement prop nut zinc is required. Current pattern references commonly associate the A replacement with 3/4 in. shaft applications, so the safest match points are the existing prop nut style, shaft size, and replacement-anode pattern rather than appearance alone.

Fitment Notice

Fitment should be confirmed by the installed prop nut assembly and replacement-anode pattern before ordering. Matching by CMT-PNZA / CMPNZA / PN-A-ZN remains the safest method.

When This Part Needs Replacement

Replace the anode when it is heavily wasted, pitted, cracked, loose, or significantly reduced in size. As a zinc anode, this version is intended for saltwater use and is not recommended for freshwater service.

Installation Notes

Current A-style replacement references indicate the mounting screw is sold separately on comparable pattern listings. Install on a clean contact surface and do not paint the anode.

Parts Desk Insight

The important detail on this part is that it is the replacement anode for the A-style prop nut system, not the full complete assembly. Matching the installed prop nut style first is the best way to avoid ordering the wrong replacement zinc.
