Shimano Current Sniper Jig Real Iwashi

The Shimano Current Sniper Jig Real Iwashi is a versatile saltwater metal jig built for anglers who want the most realistic baitfish imitation in the lineup. The Real Iwashi colour replicates the natural appearance of Japanese sardine (iwashi) with precise scale detail and lifelike colouration, making it exceptionally effective when fish are selectively feeding on small baitfish.

Key Features

• Slim Casting Profile: Hydrodynamic body design maximizes casting distance while maintaining a natural fall and responsive jigging action.
• SCALE BOOST Finish: Shimano’s holographic baitfish pattern delivers a hyper-realistic iwashi imitation with depth, flash, and natural colour gradients.
• Saltwater-Ready Construction: High-density steel body and rear treble hook are built to handle hard-fighting inshore and offshore species.
• Versatile Presentation: Effective for shore casting, boat fishing, vertical jigging, and working fish suspended in the water column or tight to the bottom.

Whether you are targeting salmon, tuna, yellowtail, or other selective gamefish, the Current Sniper Real Iwashi is a natural match when baitfish are present. Previously known as the Coltsniper, this jig has been updated in name to better reflect its design and performance characteristics.
