Scientific Anglers Absolute Indicator Stillwater Leader – Clear/Orange

Scientific Anglers Absolute Indicator Stillwater Leader – Clear/Orange is a tapered freshwater leader designed for stillwater trout fishing and other indicator setups where subtle presentation matters. The hot-orange butt section improves strike detection, while the longer tippet section helps flies sink efficiently with minimal added weight.

Key Features

• Strike-Detection Butt Section: Bright orange butt material makes takes easier to see when fishing indicators.
• Long Tippet Design: Extended taper helps nymphs and flies sink smoothly and evenly.
• Freshwater Trout Focus: Ideal for stillwater trout, but versatile enough for rivers and moving water.
• Absolute Copolymer Material: Scientific Anglers proprietary blend is designed to reduce water absorption and maintain supple handling with strong wet knot performance.
• Recyclable Packaging: Paper-based packaging is 100% recyclable and uses biodegradable materials, inks, and window components.

Available in 2X, 3X, and 4X, this Scientific Anglers leader gives anglers a dependable option for indicator fishing, nymphing, and stillwater presentations. The clear/orange color combination provides a balance of stealth and visibility, making it easier to manage drifts and detect subtle eats.

Use it when targeting trout with weighted or unweighted flies, especially in stillwater environments where a clean turnover and controlled sink rate can make a difference. Scientific Anglers built the Absolute line to deliver dependable strength, smooth performance, and consistent on-water results.
