Scientific Anglers Skagit Textured Tips – Assorted Densities

Scientific Anglers Skagit Textured Tips are built for anglers who want better control when swinging flies for salmon, steelhead, and other two-handed spey applications. The textured finish helps reduce friction for easier pick-ups, while the tapered, density-compensated design delivers flies with improved presentation and depth control.

Key Features

• Textured Shooting Surface: Reduces line friction for smoother casting and easier retrieval of sinking tips.
• Tapered, Density-Compensated Design: Helps load the rod efficiently and presents flies with more control in changing water conditions.
• Multiple Sink Profiles: Available in floating, intermediate/sink combinations, sink 5, and sink 7 options to match water depth and current speed.
• Improved Welded Loops: Designed for greater longevity and convenient rigging with your spey setup.

Whether you are fishing broad steelhead runs or deep salmon holding water, Scientific Anglers gives you the sink rate options needed to keep your fly in the zone. The Scientific Anglers Skagit Textured Tips line up well with modern spey rods and are a reliable choice for cold- and medium-water conditions. The assortment of colors also helps distinguish tip styles quickly on the water, making changes faster and more organized.

Choose the length and grain weight that matches your setup, from lighter 8 ft options to longer 12 ft tips for more demanding presentations. These tips are a practical addition to any spey anglers line system.
