Yakima Bait Cut Plug – Double Trouble

The Yakima Bait Cut Plug is a trolling plug engineered to imitate a wounded cut-plug herring, producing a tight spinning roll and a pronounced tail kick that provokes strikes from salmon, trout, and kokanee. Yakima Bait offers the Cut Plug in multiple proven colors and in both 2.5″ and 3.0″ sizes (sold in 2pack configurations), allowing anglers to match local bait profiles and water conditions for more consistent hookups.

Key Features

• Lifelike Action: Two-part hinged design creates realistic wounded-roll action and a strong tail kick that triggers aggressive strikes.
• Bait Chamber & Scent Dispersion: Internal cavity accepts attractants and disperses scent evenly to reduce re-baiting and extend effective towing time.
• Pre-Rigged or Unrigged Options: Available pre-rigged with durable 30# leader and size-appropriate hooks, or unrigged for custom setups and replacement hardware.

Designed for use with planer boards, downriggers, or conventional long-line trolling, the Yakima Bait Cut Plug performs reliably in freshwater and inshore saltwater conditions. The durable plastic construction keeps sections secured to the leader while maintaining consistent action and scent flow, making it ideal for salmon, trout and kokanee anglers targeting active schooling fish.

Specifications: Sizes 2.5″ and 3.0″ available; typical packaged dimensions for a 3.0″ 2pack are approximately 5.5″ x 3.25″ x 0.5″ and packaged weight is about 0.055 lb (0.9 oz).
