Key Features

• Large Arbor Design: Speeds line retrieval, reduces line memory, and helps manage fast runs with better control.
• Rulon Disc Drag: Delivers smooth, low start-up resistance with dependable stopping power for strong fish.
• Hybrid Aluminum Construction: Cast aluminum alloy is machined for a durable, clean finish with an impact-resistant matte black anodized coating.
• Convertible Retrieve: Easily switches between left- and right-hand retrieve to match your preferred setup.

Echo designed the Ion series as a hard-working value reel with stainless steel internal components, audible incoming and outgoing clicks, and a backlash-free one-way roller clutch bearing. The 8/10 weight size balances modern larger fly rods well and provides room for big lines and backing while keeping the reel practical for everyday use.

With a 3.9-inch diameter, 8.3-ounce reel weight, and capacity for WF8/9 line plus backing, this matte black Echo fly reel is a smart choice for anglers building a reliable freshwater, light saltwater, or two-handed setup.
