Key Features

• Reflective Flash: Highly reflective mylar-like tinsel that creates attractive flashes underwater.
• Fine Strand Construction: Thin, flexible strands (typically ~1/69″ or 1/64″) that lay naturally for realistic movement.
• Wide Color Range: Available in many colors and sizes (standard and magnum) to match natural and gamefish-preferred palettes.

Designed for both beginner and experienced tyers, Hareline Flashabou bonds easily to thread wraps and can be used as a mylar tinsel replacement for bodies and ribs. The fine, marabou-like action of bundled strands helps produce lifelike movement on the hook and improves lure profile without adding bulk. Use Flashabou with common accessories like beads, wires, and synthetic dubbing it pairs well with freshwater hooks for trout and bass and larger saltwater streamers targeting species like stripers and bonefish.
