Hareline Micro Fine Dry Fly Dub – Black #11

The Hareline Micro Fine Dry Fly Dub is a micro-fine fly tying dubbing designed specifically for dry flies and delicate micro patterns. Hareline’s short, finely-cut fibers enable precise placement of dubbing on the thread without unwanted bulk, producing natural profiles and excellent floatation. This dubbing is ideal for mayfly, midge, caddis, and emerger patterns where subtle profile and lightness matter. Each small single-color pack contains approximately 0.1 oz of dubbingcompact for the bench or a travel kit.

Key Features

• Micro-Fine Texture: Ultra-short fibers create smooth, tapered bodies that accurately imitate insect silhouettes.
• Controlled Application: Short cut prevents buildup and gives precise placement on small hooks and sizes (typical use on sizes 1824).
• Extensive Color Range: Available in many trout-catching shades to match local hatches and trigger strikes.
• Lightweight & Water-Ready: Keeps flies buoyant and performs well with floatants and water-repellent treatments.

Fly tyers choose Hareline Micro Fine Dry Fly Dub for consistent quality and ease of use. Whether building emergers, parachute dry flies, or tiny spinners, this dubbing blends seamlessly with natural hackle and synthetic materials and performs reliably on the water. Hareline dubbing is forgiving for new tyers yet versatile enough for advanced techniques like blended bodies, palmering, and dubbing loops.
