Parts Desk Insights

Best use case: This spring is typically needed during a carburetor service, throttle linkage rebuild, or fuel system overhaul when the original spring has fatigued, lost tension, or broken. Small springs like this are easy to overlook during a service but are critical to proper throttle response and fuel system function. If youre sourcing this part, its a good opportunity to inspect related components at the same time.

While youre servicing the fuel system, you may also want to look at the PCM High Pressure Fuel Pump FCC, the PCM Electric Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Assembly, or the PCM Modular Returnless Fuel System for a more complete service.
