Serial Number Fitment Notice

Volvo Penta washer fitment can vary by assembly, production break, and component revision. Confirm part number 807589 against your exact serial number before ordering to ensure the correct wear washer for your specific application.

When This Part Needs Replacement

Replace this wear washer when the original is worn, grooved, thinned, damaged, corroded, or removed during service and no longer provides proper support or spacing in the assembly. It is also smart to replace it when the related components are already apart and the original washer shows visible wear.

Installation Notes

Install only after confirming the exact application by serial number and parts diagram. Because this is a wear washer, thickness, placement, and mating-surface condition matter. The cleanest approach is to match part number 807589 directly to the correct Volvo Penta schematic before installation.

Parts Desk Insight

Small wear washers are easy to overlook, but they often control spacing and surface protection inside the assembly they support. Matching by exact serial number is usually much safer than ordering by appearance alone, especially when several similar washers may exist across nearby Volvo Penta assemblies.
