Yakima Bait 9621 Hawg Nose Flatfish – Feeder

The Yakima Bait 9621 Hawg Nose Flatfish is a 5.5-inch fishing lure designed to produce a pronounced skip-beat action and reliable diving performance. Built for saltwater and inshore anglers, this flatfish-style lure dives 1015 ft and can reach up to 20 ft in ideal conditions, making it effective for targeting flounder, striped bass, redfish and other bottom-oriented species.

Key Features

• Dive Profile: Typical 1015 ft dive with the ability to reach about 20 ft under ideal conditions for accessing deeper structure.
• Durable Hardware: Heavy-duty stainless-steel hook hangers and a screw-eye pull point provide corrosion resistance and dependable hookup strength.
• Bait Attachment: Side grooves hold bait-wrap thread securely for consistent presentation and longer bait life.
• Hook Options: Standard with a 3/0 treble hook; also available with single-hook configurations for anglers who prefer single-hook setups.

Yakima Bait built the Hawg Nose Flatfish to balance action and durability so anglers can present an attractive profile around structure and current. The skip-beat motion helps draw strikes in both shallow and mid-depth presentations, while the rugged hardware stands up to repeated saltwater use. At 5.5″ length the lure fishes well on medium-to-heavy tackle and fits common lure storage boxes for easy transport.
