Yakima Bait Flatfish F-Series Plug – Rainbow

The Yakima Bait Flatfish F-Series Plug – Rainbow is a classic freshwater fishing lure built for an exaggerated wobbling action that draws strikes from trout, kokanee, bass, pike, and other game fish. Its proven Flatfish body shape produces a wide, swimming motion at trolling speeds, making it a dependable choice when fish respond to vibration, flash, and a lifelike baitfish presentation.

Key Features

• Wide Wobbling Action: The balanced plug design creates a high-action wiggle that performs well when trolled or worked through productive water.
• Multi-Species Performance: Effective for trout, kokanee, bass, pike, and other freshwater predators in lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.
• Rainbow Finish: A bright, fish-attracting color pattern that adds visibility and appeal in a variety of water conditions.
• Single-Hook Design: The F-2 size measures 1 inch and is fitted with a #12 single hook for compact presentations.

Yakima Bait has made the Flatfish a staple for anglers who want a lure with consistent action and easy trolling performance. The compact F-Series profile is especially useful for light tackle setups, trout trolling, and situations where a smaller plug can outperform larger offerings.

Diving depth varies with trolling speed, line diameter, current, and rigging, with the F-2 commonly suited for shallow presentations from approximately 6 inches to 2 feet.
